DescriptionThe mahogany frame features a molded-edge rectangular top, canted and fluted front corners, cabriole legs with shell-carved front knees that end in trifid feet, and an elaborately arched and scalloped skirt. The piece has four drawers including a full-width upper drawer and a shallow lower drawer flanked by two small square front drawers, all with thumbnail molded edges. Hardware includes brass bails with large backplates, and a single brass escutcheon is centered on the upper drawer front.
NotesThe present hardware on the table is its third set, and the top, although old, is a replacement.
