DescriptionA banister back arm chair that features a yoke shaped crest rail and a plain rectangular shoe with five flat molded banisters flanked by a pair of baluster turned stiles ending in tapered button finials. The heavy shaped arms end with vertical circular terminals, over baluster turned arm supports which have baluster shaped terminals where they enter the arms. The lower front posts end in small flattened ball feet. The front stretcher features two bulbous turnings flanking a reel turning, while the pairs of side stretchers and a single rear stretcher are plain turned. The lower two inches on all four feet have been pieced out. The chair has a replacement rush seat.
