DescriptionA doll-sized open cradle of stained maple wood, constructed with flared sides, a shaped head and foot panel with simple carved scrolls, ovoid handle cutouts at the centers of both side panels, simple tongue and groove corner joints, and two shaped rocker foot panels attached to the underside of the cradle.
NotesThe original information accompanying the cradle noted that it was owned and used by Monmouth County resident Miss Jane Williams, an aunt of donor Carrie Weeks McGahey. The date of the cradle was given as around 1840.
