NotesCornelius Christian Zabriskie of Bergen County, NJ, was born in 1784, a son of Christian A. Zabriskie and Maria Bogert. In 1803, he married Maria Hopper. They lived in New Barbadoes Township, Bergen County, which at the time included Paramus. Zabriskie died in 1865.
