DescriptionA man's waistcoat of purple and blue changeable silk in a narrow striped weave, constructed with a standing collar, nine-button double-breasted front closure, and two waist pockets. The eighteen buttons are self-covered. Both the back and the lining of the waistcoat is of light tan plain woven linen, with off-white cotton front facings.NotesAccording to the original accesion records, this silk waistcoat descended in the Montgomery family of Upper Freehold, Monmouth County.
