Lined on the reverse with an unidentified newspaper from Paterson, NJ, and an unidentified newspaper from New York City.
NotesMaria or “Polly” Hopper of Bergen County, NJ, was born in 1782, a daughter of Capt. John A. Hopper and Mary Cooper. She married Cornelius C. Zabriskie in 1803, and they became the parents of four children. Polly Zabriskie died in 1852, and was first interred on the family farm. Her remains were later removed to the Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood.
