DescriptionAn oval medallion, featuring a pale pink wax base with plumes of curled blonde human hair, metallic thread wheat sheaves, and three tiny seed pearls in a gold clasp bar, set within a gold frame and covered with a curved glass front. Remants of a hanging ring can be seen on the back of the medallion.
NotesDonor Emma L. Ely (1866 - 1953) was an antiques dealer and artist who ran a shop at 27 Wallace Street in Red Bank. She was born in Holmdel.
