DescriptionA disc-shaped silver medal with a pendant ring at top and bright cut outer trim. Engraved on the front of the medal is "East Freehold / SCHOOL / July 3 - 84."
Curatorial RemarksThe East Freehold School was built in 1843 on the present intersection of Dutch Lane Road and East Freehold Road, Freehold Township, Monmouth County. The district served approximately 90 pupils.NotesAccording the the donor, this medal was given to his father at the East Freehold School when he was 12 years old.
